Role: Superintendent, Electrical

Location: Country Canada Wide

Reporting to the respective site Construction Managers, the duties of the Superintendent will include:

  • Leadership and direction among the construction trades and crew, organizing and overseeing daily construction activities;
  • Develop and maintain positive client and employee relations;
  • Interpret construction drawings and implement proper construction techniques;
  • Have an active handle of the review of people, equipment, materials, and any potential subcontractors working within defined work scopes assigned;
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting – including progress;
  • Control and monitor project status and schedules;
  • Ensure conformance with applicable engineering requirements, and schedule resources, including labour and equipment.

The successful candidates are high-energy, goal-oriented individuals with 10 to 15 years of proven experience in Industrial construction (Preferably, but not limited to a Red Seal trade or a combination of experience).  You are a leader in your field and passionate about the work you do.  You have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and have advanced knowledge of computer applications for reporting purposes.

There is an expectation to work extended work schedules, which includes holidays and weekends.  Travel away from home will be required.  Preferred candidates will be open to travel and construction project work and be on a defined rotation work schedule.  Competitive living out allowance will be provided.
