We are looking for dynamic individuals who can bring enthusiasm and innovative solutions to our various projects. Pennecon Technical Services performs project work across a wide variety of industry sectors, from oil and gas to our local municipalities. This is an exciting opportunity for our company and we are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Role: Millwright
Location: St. John’s, NL
The Millwright will be responsible to assemble and repair all types of pumping and mechanical rotating equipment, as well as machining components, ensuring customer, OEM and industry requirements are met. Equipment used in this position includes: lathes, milling machines, boring machines and drill presses.
You are a high-energy, results driven individual with a journeyperson certification as Millwright and extensive experience in this area. You have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. You will be responsible to demonstrate superior safety behaviours in the execution of your work and support the Company’s safety, quality and environment programs. You are an effective team player with a positive attitude. Experience with vibration analysis of rotating equipment, would be an asset.
The successful candidate will be a goal driven individual who supports the Company’s safety and quality programs, has excellent communication skills, is committed to customer satisfaction, has strong organization skills and has the ability to multitask while executing work within deadlines. They will also have a strong work ethic, work well independently as well as part of a team and are proficient in the use of computers. Offshore training would be an asset.
This position will be a casual on call role.
