Liannu Limited Liability Partnership (Liannu LLP), a subsidiary of Pennecon Ltd., has been awarded a number of contracts at the Voisey’s Bay Mine site in Labrador. The primary work scopes include the mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation outfitting of the recently constructed Paste Plant and Booster Station buildings, as well as erection of structural steel & installation of architectural components for additional pump houses, Flush house and Transfer stations for the Vale underground mine expansion project in Voisey’s Bay.

Role: Engineering Change Coordinator
Location: Voisey’s Bay, NL

Reporting to the Project Controls Lead, the Change Management Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Interpret the contract and work with the project team to identify potential changes;
  • Develop change requests and compile documentation;
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of additional scopes;  
  • Communication with the client and subcontractors on a timely basis;
  • Develop and follow up with change reports;
  • Review technical engineering drawings for compliance and progress;
  • Assist with all change management activities;
  • Assist all the Project Managers/Engineers as required in project development and execution.

To be a selected candidate of interest, you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering/ Engineering Technology with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working within an industrial and construction environment;
  • Past exposure to the change management process;
  • A keen eye for compliance and detail, being able to go out into the field to review for accurate information;
  • Ability to write and organize technical reports;
  • An understanding of P6 and scheduling would be an asset;
  • Overall - the selected candidate will have problem solving and root cause identification skills and the ability to work independently as well as work closely project team

You will be required to work in the field and be responsible to demonstrate superior safety behaviours in the execution of the work and support the Company’s safety, quality and environment programs.

Project Information:

  • Scheduled work rotation: two weeks on, two weeks off
  • Flights will be provided by the Company
  • Anticipated duration: One year
