We are looking for dynamic individuals who can bring enthusiasm and innovative solutions to our various projects. Pennecon Industrial is currently completing Mechanical and Electrical projects across Canada and needs a QC Coordinator to join our growing team.
Role: Quality Control Coordinator
Location: St. John’s, NL
Within this position, the QC Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and customer specifications;
- Create Inspection and Test Plans as per Client specification and applicable Industry Codes.
- Liaise with subcontractors, follow up on applicable quality documentation submittals
- Coordinate Third Party Inspections at subcontractors as required.
- Provide Quality support to site project teams and where necessary make site visits to complete inspections.
- Complete visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance to the applicable drawings, specifications;
- Review and oversee contract requirements and to compile and maintain related quality control records.
The successful candidate is a high-energy, goal oriented individual with a Post-Secondary Diploma and 2 to 5 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience with the following certifications: CSA W178.2, CWB Level 2 Inspector.

You have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills with a commitment to safe work practices and ISO 9001:2015 QA/QC processes. You are an effective team player with a positive attitude.
